Life's a beach for Team GB as BOA award place at London 2012 Games

Great Britain's men's and women's beach volleyball teams have been awarded places at the London 2012 Olympics. The British Olympic Association agreed to allow the teams to take advantage of host nation qualification places at the Games, with the competition taking place at Horse Guards Parade.

British pair Denise Johns (right) and Lucy Boulton said: 'It is fantastic news that the British Olympic Association has recognised our potential to achieve our very best at London 2012. 'But we haven't finished yet. Our dream is to vindicate the incredibly hard work we have been doing and make sure not just one but both teams play in London.'
