Beach volleyball teams needed for SPG

Guam - The Guam Volleyball Federation will be looking for athletes to represent Guam in beach volleyball for next summer's 2011 South Pacific Games. The games will be held in New Caledonia with a series of beach volleyball tournaments scheduled through out the next couple of months.

Those interested in competing must meet Guam National Olympic Committee residency requirements and be a member of the GVBF. The men's qualifiers are scheduled for Nov. 20, Dec. 11 and Jan. 2 at the PIC beach court as well as Jan. 15, Feb. 5 and Feb. 19 at the Gun beach courts. The women's qualifiers are scheduled for Nov. 27, Dec. 18, Jan. 8 at the PIC beach court as well as on Jan. 15, Feb. 5 and Feb. 19 on the Gun beach courts.
